RMA PROCEDURES WARRANTY LIMITATIONS DEPOT WARRANTY
REPAIR / REPLACEMENTS QUALITY CONTROL
All products sold by Five Star Computers, Inc. comes with a limited one-year warranty, (Except CPU and Memory Products. Please refer to “Warranty Limitations” for details). Five Star Computers, inc. warrants these products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the invoice date. This warranty is only provided to the original Purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases (Five Star Computers, Inc. does not provide services to 3rd party). Any product that fails will be repaired or replaced with an equivalent or better component or a credit will be issued at an amount equal to current market price or last invoice purchase price - whichever is less Five Star Computers, Inc. makes no warranty as to the merchantability, fitness or application of the products.
Five Star Computers, Inc. offers a standard ONE YEAR warranty. For products that carry more than one year warranty by manufacturers, the RMA must be handled directly by the manufacturer.
You must first obtain a return materials authorization number (RMA) prior to returning any products . Each return must come with an authorized RMA number and a copy of the invoice of the item(s) being returned.
Order cancellation by customer is not a valid reason for RMA return. All items returned for credit must be in its original packaging with all necessary accessories. Customer's account must be current and have all checks cleared for RMA processing. RMA number will be valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. Please make sure the items being returned for RMA were purchased from Five Star Computers, Inc. based on invoice or previous RMA records. RMA returned items, quantities and serial numbers MUST match the RMA Request form.
Five Star Computers, Inc. is NOT responsible on RMA items that arrive damaged during transit or are misused/abused by the Purchaser. Five Star Computers Inc. is NOT responsible for the integrity of the data information on storage products such as hard disk drives, tape drives, or media. Customer is responsible for all charges related to their end users and any express shipping for RMA.
RMA PROCEDURES
1. To Return Product
Call for RMA form..
A RMA number will be issued within 48 hours after the receipt of the RMA Request Form.
All returned items must be in a proper packaging. All shipments must include an authorized RMA form. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box.
Customer is responsible for freight on RMA returning to Five Star Computers, Inc. However, Customer also has an option of dropping off the RMA at Five Star Computers, Inc.
2. Credit/Refund (must be pre-approved by Five Star Computers, Inc.No credit or refund on opened software, special ordered items, shipping charges, freight insurance, custom charges or labor.
No credit or refund will be granted beyond DOA period.

Refund (vs. Credit) will be issued by company check. Remember this must be pre-approved during RMA request.
Credit processing time will be 5 business days.
A minimum charge of 15% restocking fee will be applied for all returns of Non-Defective Items. (must be in original sealed carton in resellable condition)
In the case of EOL (non replaceable items) Five Star Computers, Inc. reserves the right to give only partial credit based on whichever is less: the market price or an amount equal to the pro-ration of age as compare to the purchase price.

REPAIR / REPLACEMENTS
All inquiries on RMA status must be made within 60 days of RMA number issuance and supported by proof of delivery. Past due balances will delay processing of items. Replacement RMA items will be shipped back to via UPS Ground within continental USA only (exclude AK, HI, PR, GU) . Express shipping will be at customer's own expense.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
Warranty sticker, serial number, or component tampering, misuse, or physical damage voids all warranties. Repaired or replacement RMA items carry a warranty for only the remainder of warranty period from the date of original invoice. Product specifications are subject to change without notice. NO WARRANTY NOT SET FORTH ABOVE IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY Five Star Computers, Inc. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
All functionally Dead-On Arrival (DOA) items must be claimed within DOA period to receive a Credit/New Replacement. Defective items returned subsequently will be repaired or replaced by standard processing.
Bundle Specials contain multiple items offered together at a discounted price. Credit return on Bundle Special Items must be returned entirely if credit is requested. Partial returns within a bundle special qualify for replacement only.

QUALITY CONTROL
Five Star Computers, Inc. relies on manufacturers' quality control and does not individually test all products in our warehouse, hence Five Star Computers, Inc. does not custom-configure motherboard or other products, jumper/software settings, including that for CPU's. Special requests to install/configure/test individual components would be at additional labor cost
